CampShare by POMO is our program aiming at making camping and the outdoors accessible to as many families as possible - regardless of income, experience, or storage space.
We provide free or low-cost access to high-quality camping gear through our gear library, offer hands-on clinics that teach essential outdoor skills, and organize fully/partially-sponsored camping trips to beautiful, family-friendly destinations. Whether you're new to the outdoors or just need the right tools and support, CampShare gives you everything you need to confidently enjoy nature with your loved ones. No cost, no stress—just shared adventure.
Why did we start CampShare?
We started CampShare because we believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of the outdoors—whether that’s deep in the woods or right in your own backyard. Camping brings people together. It builds memories, teaches life skills, and reconnects us with nature and each other. But for many families, the cost of gear, lack of storage, or just not knowing where to start can turn that dream into a challenge.

CampShare Guided Trips
CampShare will be organizing family-friendly camping trips to beaches and parks across Texas—made possible by community sponsors. We provide the gear, set up the tents, and cover most costs so families can simply show up and enjoy the outdoors. From first-timers to seasoned campers, our trips create meaningful, affordable experiences in nature.
Trail School
Our hands-on workshops teach essential outdoor skills like pitching tents, knot tying, camping safety, first aid, fishing, and more. Perfect for beginners and families, these sessions help you feel prepared and confident for any camping adventure.
