Momentum! Reps Remove Doubt. Effort Builds Belief.
The Fast Break 2 Home Plate Club is a youth development program that blends athletic training with cognitive growth. Through agility drills, vision work, reaction time training, and full-body movement, we activate both hemispheres of the brain—helping young athletes grow mentally and physically. We also teach the rules, strategies, and structure of the game, ensuring that as kids grow, they not only play better—they understand the game and themselves on a deeper level.
Our summer camp for ages 7–10 helps young athletes not just play the games—but understand them. We break down the basics of basketball and baseball strategy in a fun, age-appropriate way. Kids learn why plays happen, how to make smart decisions, and what it means to be a team player—all while building confidence and having a blast.
We aim to train more than muscles — we train minds and reflexes. Through fun, targeted drills, kids ages 7–10 improve hand-eye coordination, visual tracking, reaction speed, and body control. These key skills boost performance in all sports, helping young athletes move quicker, think faster, and play smarter.
We believe young athletes have the capability. They just need some guidance. We give kids the building blocks to grow in baseball, basketball, and speed training. Through focused, high-energy drills, we teach proper form, footwork, and movement skills that translate across multiple sports. Whether it’s swinging a bat, dribbling with control, or sprinting with purpose — we turn practice into real progress.
We want our camp to go beyond drills but to truly build strong, confident kids. Through every activity, the kids can learn the power of effort, the value of teamwork, and how to speak up for themselves in positive, respectful ways. We help them understand that communication — with coaches, teammates, and themselves — is key to growing both on and off the field.

Safe Environment
Coach Joe brings over five years of experience coaching Special Needs basketball, a competitive baseball background, and current Background checks through both the YMCA and the Watch D.O.G.S. program. All necessary background checks are up to date, and parents are always welcome to stay, watch, or even participate. At FB2HP, safety, trust, and fun are the foundation of every session.
Staying Cool and Energized
We prioritize hydration with regular water breaks to keep everyone refreshed. Most of our drills take place under shade canopies to protect from the sun, and we offer healthy snacks to fuel energy. When needed, we even move drills indoors to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all.
Fueling the Future
Harnessing the latest advancements in rehabilitation technology, we empower your recovery journey with cutting-edge tools and techniques designed to optimize your progress and ensure superior outcomes.
Strength in Brotherhood
We aim to encourage the boys to support one another by helping run drills together. This teamwork fosters a strong sense of brotherhood, builds leadership skills, and helps everyone grow both as an athlete and in life.
